Ҡatie Ҡaufman, MSW, LCSW, is a dedicated mental health therapist and public speaker who currently works with Rula and NAMI, where they leverage their lived experiences and clinical expertise to promote mental health and suicide prevention. Previously, they provided services at Family Health Centers of San Diego and held various positions in mental health advocacy, including as a national public policy advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. They earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, and have a rich history of engaging audiences through powerful storytelling and expert-led discussions.
