Michael Cook is currently the Program Area Chief Engineer for Commercial and Civil Payloads at Raytheon Technologies, where they oversee all engineering activities in the space payloads portfolio and lead proposal efforts. Prior to this role, Michael served as Associate Director and Chief Engineer, guiding teams in the development of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and products. They have extensive previous experience as a Staff Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, Systems Engineer at Boeing Satellite Systems, and contributed to engineering efforts during a co-op with the United States Air Force. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Master of Science in System Engineering and Architecting from the University of Southern California.
