Whitney Peterson is currently the Director of Marketing & Partnerships for Private Client Services at Risk Strategies Company. Whitney has extensive experience in marketing, having served as the SVP of Marketing at Gowrie Group from 2008 to 2019 and as the Director of Marketing & Partnerships for Gowrie Group, a division of Risk Strategies, from 2019 to 2023. Whitney also volunteered as the Head of the Junior Sailing Program at Sachem's Head Yacht Club from 2013 to 2023 and currently holds the position of Commodore & Board Chair until 2025. Additionally, Whitney was a professional sailor and athlete for the US Sailing Olympic Team from 1996 to 1999. They began their career as a Senior Consultant at IBM, followed by roles at Mainspring and Digitas.
