The Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters is the leading organization in directing the joint operations of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and achieving the excellence in ASEAN.

1. Protecting, upholding, and safeguarding the Monarchy and promoting the democratic regime with the King as Head of State
2. Directing the joint operations of all Services and reinforcing the capability in defending the country from all types of threats
3. Supporting the government in solving the country’s major problems, conducting national development and providing assistance to the people
