Marcel Smedeman is a seasoned construction manager and project leader with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Constructiemanager / uitvoerend projectleider at Haskoning since December 2025, Marcel's career includes a long tenure at Uticon, where roles included Projectleider uitvoering from June 1991 to December 2025, and project leadership at Uticon engineering consultancy during the same period. Additionally, Marcel worked as a project engineer at Aviko BV from 2006 to 2008. Marcel holds an MTS diploma, obtained from 1984 to 1988.
