Patrick Dennis is a technology executive who joined Avaya as President and Chief Executive Officer in September 2024 and serves on its Board of Directors. They have over 30 years of experience and a proven track record of transformational leadership in Enterprise Software, SaaS, Cybersecurity, and Communications. Most recently, they were CEO of Venafi, where they led the company’s strategy and growth and oversaw the sale to CyberArk for $1.5B. Prior to Venafi, they served as CEO of ExtraHop, where they nearly doubled the company’s size and earned industry accolades for its thought leadership in Artificial Intelligence; they earned a B.S. in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. They also served as CEO of Aspect Communications (now Alvaria) and Guidance Software, and held senior leadership roles at EMC and Oracle Corporation.
