Xavier Monfort has extensive experience in tax management and strategy, having held key positions at various prestigious organizations. As Deputy Tax Director at Wendel from July 2007 to February 2020, Xavier defined and implemented tax strategies for the group, participated in management committees, managed tax compliance and audits, and engaged in numerous acquisition projects across international markets. Prior roles include Tax Manager at Ernst & Young Société d'Avocats and Senior Tax Manager at Clifford Chance, where Xavier focused on M&A deals and business restructuring. Currently serving as Managing Director and Group Head of Tax at Rothschild & Co since February 2025, Xavier also contributes as a member of the Tax Committee for France Invest. Educational qualifications include degrees from Paris Bar School, Sciences Po, Paris-Sud University, and HEC Paris, providing a strong foundation in law, political science, and economics.
