Bastian Freitag is a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager with over 10 years of experience in government bonds, covered bonds, and credits. Bastian completed an internship in real estate investment banking at Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. AG & Co. KGaA and held portfolio management positions at Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers and BHF Trust. From 2014 to 2024, Bastian served as the Director Portfolio Manager Fixed Income at Rothschild & Co Vermögensverwaltung GmbH and is currently the Head of Fixed Income Germany and Managing Director at Rothschild & Co. Bastian earned a Diplom Ökonom in Economics from Bergische Universität Wuppertal and a CIIA® certification from DVFA - Deutsche Vereinigung für Finanzanalyse und Asset Management.
