Sarah Louise Barns is a seasoned researcher and consultant specializing in digital strategy, urban studies, and telecommunications policy. With extensive experience spanning over two decades, Barns has held significant roles such as Research Fellow at the University of Western Sydney, where an internationally recognized project on Platform Urbanism was developed, and Senior Research Adviser at the Australia Council for the Arts, where the first national creative industries strategy was established. Current work as a Senior Research Fellow at RMIT University focuses on data ecologies for thriving places, alongside ongoing contributions as a founding member of the Circular Economy Precincts Cooperative.
