Sophie Zheng is an experienced audio system engineer currently serving as a Staff Audio Systems Engineer at Rivian since 2025. Previously, they held positions at companies such as Facebook, where they worked as an Audio System Engineer from 2018 to 2022, and Microsoft as a Senior Audio & Acoustics Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Their early career includes roles at NXP Semiconductors as an Acoustic Engineer and Nokia as a Senior Audio Engineer. Sophie also gained experience as a Senior Audio Hardware System Engineer at Amazon Lab126 between 2022 and 2025. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Physics at Tongji University.
