Dr. Claire V. Brennan is a Staff Failure Analysis Engineer - Electrical at Rivian, specializing in electronics assembly and failure analysis of metals, ceramics, and electronic components. Previously, they worked as a Materials Engineer at Collins Aerospace and at the Army Research Lab, where they focused on the synthesis and characterization of ceramic materials for various applications. Claire earned a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2011, where they researched thin film optimization under the guidance of Dr. S. Pamir Alpay. Additionally, Claire has participated in various roles within the American Ceramic Society and held summer research internships at Lawrence University and the University of Minnesota. They received the SMART scholarship in 2009 while pursuing their educational endeavors.
