Kala Berg Laughlin is an environmental scientist with a robust background in geography, geology, and natural resource management. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Permitting and Environmental Affairs at Repsol Renewables North America, Kala has previously held roles including Permitting Manager at Recurrent Energy and Environmental Engineer under Zachry Odebrecht Parkway Builders. Kala’s experience encompasses areas such as NPDES compliance, NEPA, and environmental training, and they are certified in various safety and environmental management programs. Kala earned a B.A. in Geography with a focus on Natural Resource Management from The University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Geography emphasizing Environmental Science and Resource Management from Texas State University.
