Camilo Restrepo has extensive experience in the field of exploration geoscience, currently serving as the Exploration and Appraisal Leader for the Gulf of Mexico and Brazil at Repsol since August 2008. Camilo has held various leadership and advisory roles within the company, focusing on exploration efforts in regions such as the Andean Basins, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, where responsibilities included comprehensive evaluations of exploration projects and resource calculations. Prior to Repsol, Camilo worked as a Mud Logger and Operations Geologist at Datalog Technology, overseeing drilling parameters and geological data in Colombia. Camilo holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma, a Master’s Degree in Exploration and Production of Oil and Gas from ISE - Heriot Watt, and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Additionally, Camilo completed a course on the Economics of the Clean Energy Transition at Stanford University in 2021.
