Vijay Chahar is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in sales and engineering within the manufacturing and power transmission sectors. Currently serving as VP - OEM Sales at Regal Beloit Corporation, Chahar leads a $225M+ sales team to drive OEM sales growth and develop strategic partnerships with key customers. Previous roles include leadership positions in gearing, advanced manufacturing technology, and the management of Marathon Special Products, where Chahar improved profitability during the great recession. Prior to Regal Beloit, experience includes positions at GE, focusing on new product development and engineering management, as well as engineering roles at Visteon Climate Systems India Ltd. and Hindustan Motors Limited. Chahar holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business.
