Robert McCann is a partner in the Global Corporate Group at Reed Smith LLP, residing in the Chicago office. They currently serve as the U.S. Vice-Chair of the firm's Global M&A Group and chair the Chicago office's summer associate committee. Robert's practice focuses on a wide range of middle market M&A transactions, primarily representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. Prior to joining Reed Smith in 2015, they worked as an attorney at Vedder Price, P.C. from 2011 to 2015 and in a legal role at Harpo Productions from 2009 to 2011. Robert is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics at DePaul University, having previously earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2010.
