Erik Hinderer is a Principal Solutions Architect at Redis with over 25 years of experience in designing and developing mission-critical distributed systems and applications. Currently, Erik serves as a Staff Solutions Engineer at Confluent, where they address key technical and strategic adoption challenges for major clients, creating real-time data streaming architectures. Previously, Erik held various positions at VMware for eight years, focusing on pre and post-sales solutions, and was a Systems Analyst for Cisco Systems. Erik attended the University of Maryland and is a certified Air Traffic Controller from the FAA Air Traffic Control School.
