Our Business Model

We are one of the largest trainers of Driving Instructors in the UK and once qualified, they have the option to join our School as franchisees. Instructors benefit from centralised lesson booking backed by a national advertising programme. Customers learning to drive with RED get great instructors who follow a structured lesson programme designed to prepare them for their practical test. A key element of the programme is  designed to impart safe driving skills for life.

Customers can pre-pay either via our call centre or online thereby ensuring that their money is secure. The Instructors are paid by RED once each lesson is delivered. If for any reason a customer requests a refund for pre-paid lessons not yet taken, RED actions this and refunds the customer. 

The Driving Standards Agency believe that an average of 47 hours of professional tuition is now necessary to prepare a customer for the practical driving test.

The Driving Instruction Team at RED Driver Training consists of certified driving instructors and instructors in training. This team is responsible for delivering high-quality, structured driving lessons to learners of all ages and abilities. Their primary focus is on teaching safe driving practices and preparing students for the practical driving test, ensuring they have the skills needed for a lifetime of safe driving. The team also includes instructor trainers who support and mentor trainee instructors, ensuring the continual provision of top-tier driving education.
