JB Habedank holds a PhD in Production Engineering, specializing in Li-ion battery production and laser technology, from Technische Universität München, where they graduated summa cum laude. They served as Head of Joining & Cutting Technologies on the management board at the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management from 2019 to 2021, where they led a research group and managed several projects. JB has also held various roles at prominent companies, including an internship at Daimler AG in Fuel Cell Technology, and is currently the VP of US Sales & Business Development at RAYLASE, focusing on scaling operations in laser beam deflection technologies. Their diverse educational background includes degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering from renowned universities in Germany.
