Darren B. is an experienced community coordinator and program coordinator with a strong focus on coding education for children through the Raspberry Pi Foundation's Code Club in Ireland. Since March 2018, Darren has actively supported a nationwide network of volunteers and educators to facilitate free coding clubs. In addition to this role, Darren founded CoderDojo Portlaoise in 2012, aimed at promoting creativity and access to technology for young people. Darren's background includes significant volunteer work with organizations such as ÁIRC Midlands and No Limits Ability Centre, specializing in social inclusion and respite services for individuals with disabilities. With previous leadership positions in recruitment and consultancy, including roles at WithU Recruitment and Solomon Search Partners, Darren combines a diverse skill set with a commitment to education and community development. Educational qualifications include a Higher Certificate in Arts from Technological University Dublin and a Politics degree from The Open University.
