John Williams is an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland, where they focus on cyber security innovation partnerships and business development. Previously, they served as Director at Xilinx and were the founder and CEO of PetaLogix, which specialized in embedded Linux systems. John has also held research positions at Queensland University of Technology, contributing to reconfigurable computing algorithms for autonomous space vehicles. Currently, they are the Director and CEO of Resilient Embedded Pty Ltd and co-founder and Chief Scientist at Rapidflare, delivering security consulting services for embedded systems. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Electronic Systems Engineering, as well as a Ph.D. in Electronics/Image Analysis, all from QUT.
