Frank G. Klotz is an Adjunct Senior Fellow and Professor of Policy Analysis at the RAND School of Public Policy, where they currently engage in research and teaching. They served in key leadership roles within the United States Air Force from 2005 to 2007, including Vice Commander of the Air Force Space Command and Commander of the Air Force Global Strike Command. Klotz also held significant positions in national security, including Director for Nuclear Policy & Arms Control at the National Security Council and Under Secretary of Energy for Nuclear Security at the U.S. Department of Energy from 2014 to 2018. Their educational background includes a B.S. in International Affairs from the United States Air Force Academy and advanced degrees in International Relations and Politics from the University of Oxford.
