Thijs Christiaan van Son is a passionate expert in ecology and water resources management, currently serving as the Owner and CEO of Ecofluent AS, where they focus on the conservation and sustainable management of water resources. With a PhD in ecology from the University of Oslo, Thijs has contributed significantly to various research projects, including statistical modeling and environmental assessments within marine ecosystems. Previously, Thijs held research and teaching positions at institutions such as the Institute of Marine Research and The Oslo School of Architecture and Design, emphasizing the integration of ecological principles in both research and practical applications. Currently, they also work as an Environmental Adviser at Ramboll, leveraging their extensive experience in aquatic ecology and environmental impact assessments.
