Federico Volpini is a seasoned professional in animation and illustration with extensive experience in character design and coloring. Currently serving as a Character Colorist at Rainbow Group since September 2018, notable projects include the 3D series "Mermaid Magic" and "Winx Club: The Magic Is Back." Prior to this, Federico worked as a Character Designer and Background Colorist for the 2D series "Winx Club" season 8 and the 3D series "Pinocchio." Additional experience includes a brief stint as a Character Concept Designer at DreamWorks Animation for a cancelled 2D show, as well as roles as a Comic Artist for Cairo Editore and EDITIONS DU LONG BEC, illustrating historical comics and comic books. Earlier career highlights include work at Gama Movie Animation and multiple freelance illustration projects, showcasing a diverse skill set in both 2D and 3D animation mediums. Federico holds a degree from the Scuola Internazionale di Comics Jesi, completed in 2004.
