Karen O'Connor-Joyner began their career in 1987 as the Managing Director of Funds Management and Facilities at the State Department Federal Credit Union. In 2009, they moved on to become the President of KOJAM Productions, Inc., an organization that produces events locally for families. In 2012, they founded and became the CEO of Skirt the Issue (R).
Karen O'Connor-Joyner obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania between 1979 and 1983. Karen also obtained a BS in Accounting from the same university during the same time period.
