Eric Shen has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. In 2022, they began working as the Product Development Director in Technology at Radian Generation. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Cooper Compliance as a Programmer, developing SharePoint apps to help electric utility clients meet NERC compliance requirements using JavaScript, CSS and HTML. In 2017, Eric also became a Technology Adviser at Loomis Library, using their technical skills to help the library re-open, maintain the library and Friends of Loomis Library websites, maintain their event calendar, publish monthly newsletters, develop training classes for the library and provide free technical help for the community. Prior to 2017, Eric worked at Intel since 1988 as a Staff Design Engineer, where they supervised technical teams up to 23 people, setting goals and timelines and working to meet project deliverables on time and with high quality.

Eric Shen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, Davis between 1984 and 1988. Eric then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance, General from Golden Gate University between 1993 and 1997. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2015 and 2017.
