Stephen Osborne has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Stephen is currently the Director of Engineering at RAB Lighting, a position they have held since April 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Global Engineering Manager at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. from February 2017 to April 2020. Stephen also co-founded and served as a lead member of Red Chestnut Restoration, LLC, a real estate restoration company from January 2013 to January 2020. Additionally, Stephen has taught as an Adjunct Professor & Guest Lecturer at the University of Maryland from September 2012 to May 2017. Stephen has also held multiple roles at DEWALT INDUSTRIAL POWER TOOL COMPANY LTD., including Lead Project Engineer- Electrical Systems, Technical Program Manager- Tool & Motor Development, and Electrical Project Engineer- Switch & Module. Prior to that, they worked as an Electrical Engineer and EEDP Associate at Black & Decker. Stephen has valuable experience in engineering management, electrical system design, project management, and entrepreneurship.

Stephen Osborne pursued their education at various institutions. Stephen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Messiah University, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. Stephen then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, completing their studies from 2009 to 2012. Concurrently, they also studied Power Electronics & Packaging at The Johns Hopkins University from 2009 to 2012, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. Prior to their higher education, Stephen received a Regents Diploma from South Jefferson Central School, where they completed their schooling from 1988 to 2002.
