Martin Cockburn is a German lawyer and one of the Founding Partners at MCA Sports Law LLP, a boutique firm in Doha, Qatar, specializing in national and international sports law. Martin focuses on party representation before sports federations, including FIFA, AFC, and UEFA, and has extensive experience in handling disputes related to commercial, labor, disciplinary, and ethics matters. They also serve as Senior Legal Advisor to the Qatar Football Association, a position held since March 2009, where Martin gained significant insight into organizing major sporting events, including the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011.
