Bart Schmeink is a senior executive, currently serving as senior VP Business Transformation Europe at Securitas Security Services Europe and as a co-founder and co-shareholder of Qarin bv. Schmeink previously led Connexxion as Chief Executive Officer (2014–2019) and GVB as Chief Executive Officer (2011–2013), and was Algemeen Directeur of Securitas Nederland from 2021 to 2025. Schmeink also held the position of Managing Director at Merseyrail from 2007 to 2011 and was CEO of Groningen Airport Eelde in 2020. Earlier, Schmeink worked as manager infra operatie at ProRail (2003–2006). Education includes a master's in Public Administration and Law from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (1994); they studied at Stella Maris (1980–1988); and attended London Business School in 2011.
