Lauren Fox, Ph.D., is the Senior Director of Policy and Research at the Public School Forum of North Carolina, a position held since 2018. Previously, they served as a Research Associate at the Ford Foundation and held multiple roles including Scholar Ambassador at The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Research Consultant at both the U.S. Department of Justice and the New York Civil Liberties Union. With extensive experience in education policy and research, they also managed programs and taught various courses at Teachers College, Columbia University from 2008 to 2018. Currently, Lauren is pursuing degrees in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and Sociology and Education at both Teachers College and Columbia University, where they are completing their Ph.D.
