Willysha Jenkins is a dedicated Public Health Advocate and Data Modernization Subject Matter Expert currently serving as the Senior Advisor for Data Modernization and Informatics at the Public Health Accreditation Board. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from North Carolina State University, Willysha transitioned to public health following Peace Corps service, revealing a passion for addressing health disparities and conducting biostatistics research. Previously, Willysha has held various roles, including Interim Chief Data Officer at the NC Department of Health and Human Services and Database Manager at the State Center for Health Statistics, demonstrating a commitment to effective community health solutions. With a Master’s degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences focusing on Health Disparity Informatics from North Carolina Central University, Willysha seeks to drive meaningful change in health equity at both local and global levels.
