Ben Ritz is the Vice President of Policy Development for the Progressive Policy Institute, where they help develop innovative policy proposals that support economic opportunity and liberal democracy. They direct the Center for Funding America’s Future and have over a decade of experience influencing economic policy in Washington, including contributions to major legislation such as the Inflation Reduction Act. Ben's analyses have been featured in prominent publications like the Washington Post and the New York Times. Previously, they worked at the Bipartisan Policy Center, where they contributed to reforms in Social Security and retirement security. Ben earned a Master's in Public Policy Analysis, a Graduate Certificate in Public Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree from American University.
