Dr. Steven Hemblade is a distinguished Medical Director and Consultant Psychiatrist at Priory Hospital Burgess Hill and Dorking since February 2021, with a focus on psychiatric intensive care for male adults. Previously, Dr. Hemblade served as Medical Director and Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, and held various forensic psychiatry roles within the NHS, including ST6, ST5, and ST4 positions. Dr. Hemblade's extensive background includes experience in both medium secure units and various psychiatric services across multiple NHS organizations. Dr. Hemblade holds an MBChB in Medicine from the University of Warwick, a PGCert in Medical Education from Cardiff University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health Law from Northumbria University.
