Derek Kroes is a Design Engineer and an Electronic System Architect with expertise in analog and digital circuit design, power conversion, switch-mode power supply design, magnetic component design, motor drives, and servos. He has extensive experience in high volume low cost circuit design, switch-mode power supply design, as well as electric vehicle motor drive design. Mr. Kroes has worked for Clean Wave Technologies, Mojo Mobility, Tesla Motors, Power Integrations, Read-Rite, Maxtor, Bell Northern Research, and TRW Transportation Electronics. Mr. Kroes earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
