Andrew Lyall is a seasoned Senior Frontend Software Engineer with experience at Powster since August 2025. Previously, Andrew held roles at Vista from January 2020 to June 2025, including Squad Lead and Developer. Prior experience includes time at Microsoft as a Microsoft Student Partner, and a Junior Developer position at Westpac New Zealand. Andrew's early career featured a blend of roles such as Receptionist at Ramada Suites Federal Street, Treasurer for the Auckland University Squash Club, and various positions in customer service and student assistance. Academically, Andrew obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering and two Bachelor of Commerce degrees, focusing on Accounting and Information Systems, from the University of Auckland and Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Andrew also earned NCEA Level 3 with excellence from Palmerston North Boys' High School.
