Martin Pontén has worked in various roles since 2003. Martin started as a Tram Driver for Goteborgs Sparvagar AB in 2003. In 2008, they became a System Designer for SAAB EDS Laser Range Finders. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Senior Design Engineer for Aker Solutions AB, where they worked with steel framework of subsea structures and managed GD&T for all structures in the project. From 2016 to 2022, they were a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for Sigma Energy & Marine, where they completed customer contracts such as the Minesto DG100 project and the Permanova Lasersystem AB fixture for additive manufacturing using laser. Martin is currently a Development Engineer for PowerCell Group.
Martin Pontén attended Chalmers University of Technology from 2000 to 2007, where they obtained a Civilingenjörexamen in Maskinteknik.
