Bruno Abreu is a dedicated scientific leader currently serving as the Deputy Scientific Director at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, where they advance research in AI and Quantum Computing. With a Doctor of Science in Physics from the University of Campinas, they previously co-led Quantum Computing activities at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. Their extensive experience includes roles as a Research Scientist and postdoctoral Research Fellow, where they focused on quantum phenomena and high-performance computing. Bruno has also contributed to various collaborative initiatives and has a strong background in teaching advanced physics to undergraduate students.
