Natalia Sergeeva has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Natalia is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Pipedrive since 2021. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer Backend at Runtastic GmbH, where they were responsible for building and maintaining the Billing system. During their time at Runtastic GmbH, Natalia advocated for various experiments and work setups to improve workflows, such as adopting NoEstimates, going Kanban, and adopting functional programming concepts.

Before joining Runtastic GmbH, Natalia worked as a Back-end Developer at Anadea Inc from 2017 to 2018, where they were involved in multiple Ruby on Rails projects, mostly focused on back-end tasks. Natalia also worked on a project built with React.

From 2012 to 2017, Natalia worked as a Ruby on Rails Developer at mili.ru, a financial service provider in Russia. Natalia joined the team in its early stages.

Prior to mili.ru, Natalia worked as a PHP Programmer at Edgestile from 2010 to 2012. Natalia was involved in developing CMS modules and helped improve the development workflow by implementing agile techniques and hiring a tester.

Natalia's career started in 2008 as a Graphic Designer at Aster typography. After that, from 2007 to 2008, they worked as an IT-teacher and IT-consultant at a school, where they began coding in PHP and contributed to the school receiving a federal grant in 2009.

Natalia Sergeeva completed their education at Izhevsk State Technical University (ISTU) from 2007 to 2013, obtaining a degree in Software of computer facilities and automated systems. Prior to that, they attended Tchaikovsky Industrial and Humanitarian College from 2003 to 2006, where they achieved a technician degree in Computer systems and networks. In addition to their formal education, Natalia has also obtained certifications in Software Architecture Foundations and Software Architecture: Domain-Driven Design from LinkedIn in January 2020, as well as a certification in M001: MongoDB Basics from MongoDB University in October 2018.
