Rex Hu is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Pinterest and holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from The Ohio State University. With extensive experience in machine learning and MLOps, Rex previously worked as a Staff Data Scientist at Walmart Global Tech, where they advanced retail analytics through scalable ML solutions. Before that, Rex contributed as a Data Scientist at Huntington National Bank, modernizing the data science team’s capabilities. Rex began their career as a Data Engineer Intern at Quicken Loans, applying statistical modeling and data analysis techniques.
