Gary Ly currently serves as the Career Pathways Manager at Pillsbury United Communities, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Gary held roles as a Student Recruitment Specialist and Program Coordinator at Genesys Works Twin Cities from August 2021 to June 2023. A background in evaluation support as a Research Fellow at United Way included conducting research on capacity building for Culturally Specific Organizations. Gary has extensive experience in workforce development, having worked as a Career Transition Readiness Instructor at Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center and as an Employment Specialist at Project for Pride in Living, where two Career Pathway Programs were supervised. Gary’s educational background includes a Master of Development Practice from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology of Law, Crime, and Deviance from the University of Minnesota.
