David Peng is the Vice President of Legal & Commercial at Piano Software, where they lead a team of four to develop legal operations across 12 countries. They joined the organization as its first lawyer, overseeing day-to-day legal functions and complex cross-border M&A projects. Prior to their current role, David co-founded Fornax AI, which helps founders improve their storytelling skills for venture capital pitches, reaching over 4,000 users since its launch in 2023. David's experience also includes roles as a lawyer and law clerk at various firms, and they have contributed to multiple projects and operations in the legal field. David holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Melbourne.
