Dave Jurgenson currently serves as the Head of Risk & Regulatory Governance for the Pensions and Savings division at Phoenix Group since December 2022, focusing on optimizing risk and governance strategies. Prior to this role, Dave held various leadership positions at Tesco Bank from August 2016 to November 2022, including Head of Open Strategy and Change Risk and Head of Policy & Oversight, Compliance and Conduct, where responsibilities encompassed compliance strategy, conduct risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Earlier experience includes a Senior Assurance Manager role, overseeing assurance reviews and risk coverage, and operational risk management at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Standard Life. Dave holds a Certificate in International Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management and an MA (Hons) in Business Studies from The University of Edinburgh.
