Mel Okudo is the Executive Director and Head of Private Equity and Credit Sustainable Investing at PGIM, where they lead a team focused on making impactful investments in various sectors such as financial inclusion and climate initiatives. Previously, Mel held positions at Goldman Sachs, where they managed significant mortgage securitization deals and led market risk analysis for the global credit trading portfolio. Mel also served as Managing Director at New City Capital, advising on alternative asset classes and raising over $250M in capital. They are an alum of the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they completed a Sloan Fellowship, and have an undergraduate degree in Economics from Swarthmore College.
