Ronald DeBellis currently serves as the Director of the Medical Affairs Academy for Inflammation and Immunology, Rare Disease at Pfizer since September 2021, following his role as Director of Scientific Learning in the same academy. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Clinical and Scientific Affairs at Vapotherm, Chief Scientific Officer at the National Organization for Rare Disorders, and Founding Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Keck Graduate Institute School of Pharmacy. DeBellis has a strong background in developing educational programs and clinical practices, holding key positions at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, alongside a residency certificate in Critical Care Medicine and Administration.
