Pia MacDonald, PhD, MPH, CPH, is a public health leader and infectious disease epidemiologist with over 25 years of experience in both domestic and international settings. Currently serving as Senior Director of Global Respiratory Vaccines and Antivirals at Pfizer, Pia leads projects aimed at strengthening outbreak response capabilities. Previously, Pia was an adjunct associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and held research positions at the CDC and various global health organizations. With over 80 published articles and a book titled *Methods in Field Epidemiology*, Pia is also a sought-after speaker on epidemiological perspectives during public health emergencies.
