Karina Dumitru is an experienced professional with a strong background in metrology and calibration within the pharmaceutical industry. From January 2019 to January 2022, Karina served as Manager of Metrology at Pfizer, overseeing daily operations of the Lake Forest Standards Lab and managing calibration activities across various centers. Prior to that, from November 2014 to December 2018, Karina held roles at Hospira, initially as Metrology Supervisor, responsible for site calibration functions, and later as Group Leader, where skills in calibrating and troubleshooting complex analytical systems were applied. Currently, Karina is the Senior Manager of Instrument Metrology and Lifecycle Management at Pfizer, leading a team that supports key locations and collaborating with third-party service vendors. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucharest, Romania, and certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
