Jessica Pigga is a Principal Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Pfizer, where they focus on the synthesis and development of targeted protein degraders and small molecule inhibitors, leveraging their expertise in chemical biology to support drug discovery efforts. They served as a Senior Scientist prior to their current role and have experience as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Connecticut College since 2024. Jessica earned their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Delaware, where their research focused on stereoselective synthesis and bioorthogonal chemistry, and they completed their undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Elizabethtown College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Additionally, they contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant during their time at the University of Delaware.
