Ian Lakeman retired from Pfizer Inc. in January 2017 after a distinguished 43-year career in the pharmaceutical industry, including significant roles at G.D. Searle UK/USA, Monsanto, and Pharmacia. They held 16 major leadership positions, focusing on API, drug product, operational excellence, benchmarking, and technology transfer, with responsibilities that expanded into global supply strategy and business analytics. Ian earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemistry and specialized in applying operational excellence principles for business improvement. They are currently open to opportunities to contribute to society and industry.
