Kris Leighton began training as a JIB electrician at A&P Tyne in September 2001 and became proficient in electrical installations within the ship repair industry. Since then, Kris has gained extensive experience working offshore in the oil and gas sector, focusing on rope access techniques and the inspection and repair of electrical systems in hazardous areas. Currently, Kris works as a Rope Access Construction Electrical Technician at Petrofac, where responsibilities include installing, testing, and commissioning EX equipment. Additionally, Kris has held roles at Dron & Dickson and Codex Integrity Limited, among other companies, contributing expertise in various electrical domains.
