Gordon Lobay is the Regional Managing Partner for the Americas at Perrett Laver since November 2011, leading the executive search practice and advising mission-driven organizations on senior-level positions. Lobay also serves as a Partner, overseeing Canadian operations and the High Education Practice, guiding elite universities and non-profit organizations in strategic leadership searches. With a background that includes roles as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Perrett Laver, Lobay specializes in recruiting for senior academic leaders and research chairs at top universities. Prior experience includes positions as Principal Researcher for the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman and as a Collections Management and Museum Planning Advisor at the University of Alberta. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Archaeology from the University of Cambridge and an Executive Education degree from the University of Alberta.
