Melissa Vitense, CDS, is the current Director of Fleet Safety and Compliance at Perdue Farms, having previously served as Environment, Health and Safety Manager at Walmart and in various roles at Price Trucking, Inc. and Midwest Refrigerated Services. Beginning their transportation career in 1998, Melissa quickly advanced from processing paperwork to office management, later transitioning to a focus on safety and recruiting in 2012. Passionate about the trucking industry, Melissa has pursued extensive education, earning a CDS degree through the NATMI program and participating in ongoing training programs. They actively contribute to the Wisconsin Motor Carrier board and remain dedicated to enhancing safety and compliance in the field.
